World War II

A Decade of Tension is a webquest about nations just prior to WWII and it poses the following simulation: What we don't know or perhaps understand in why the war happened. In 1939 did Hitler invade Czechoslovakia and Poland because he was a power hungry fascist? Was the world still recovering from post World War I losses? Did the depression in America economically weaken the whole world, thereby making countries look vulnerable? As future historians it is your job to gather facts and assert your opinions. Could World War II have been prevented? Or was it just a continuation of World War I? WebQuest News Network (WQNN) has hired your group (consisting of two people) to thoroughly investigate one nation. You are to focus on that nation in the time period beginning in 1930 until their entrance into the war.
